The cover stock is EXO Pearl Reactive. The weight block is a Shape-Lock HD core, and the ball finish is Reacta Gloss. The RG is 2.480, the Delta RG is 0.052, and the Mass Bias is 0.020. The core consistently uses the Shape-Lock HD core from the Virtual series, and this is the third in the Pro series. As it is EXO, it uses STORM’s strongest pearl cover. The color is beautiful and seems to be popular among women.

Impressions During Throwing

The color also contributes to the visibility of the roll. The Virtual series originally rolls well and has a good backend reaction. The pin action is also good. Because the cover is strong, it makes very precise movements. You can feel the ball moving well at the front, making it easy to handle. The EXO Pearl, the first ball in the Virtual series to feature this cover, performs very well. Even when throwing from the inside, the pearl effect shows due to the presence of oil. When using a lot of oil, the pearl feels like it’s gliding. This ball catches while gliding, creating a very balanced movement. It catches firmly at the front and moves well at the backend due to the friction.

Differences Compared to Other Balls

Comparison with VIRTUAL ENERGY BLACKOUT

I compared it with the Virtual Energy Blackout. The Energy has the same core but the cover stock is ReX, which gives the impression of a ball that glides and cuts. The backend movement is more gradual, and the Energy feels like it glides more. I tried throwing from the outside, and the Energy generally felt weaker in movement.

Overall Evaluation

The Virtual Gravity Pro X3 with the EXO Pearl cover performs very well. The EXO Pearl is powerful and has excellent catch and hook potential. Recently, I have been bringing many EXO Pearl balls to tournaments and feel that it is a very well-balanced cover. The Virtual Gravity Pro X3 has a very strong backend movement and can be used in oily conditions. It can also be used when the oil is depleted, making it a ball that can handle a wide range of conditions. As a base, I think it is suitable for medium to medium-oily conditions.
