Summit Ascent uses a low-friction cover called R2S Solid Reactive, the same material used in the IQ Tour Edition. The core uses an AI core, which produces strong rolling action, but because of the weak cover, the ball reacts moderately to oil and does not overbite.
Impression at the time of pitching
Summit Ascent has a very good rolling feel in the front, and its straightness makes its movement in the back stable and easy to use, although it is not a flashy movement. For a ball with a strong rolling feel, its movement in the back is gentle and stable, making it especially suitable for use in difficult conditions and official matches. As a benchmark ball, this is one that can be used in many situations.
Summary
Summit Ascent is an easy-to-use ball that is stable in long oil conditions and difficult lane conditions.Because it is not too strong and stable, it is regarded as a reliable ball in official competitions.
