The Hustle X-Ray uses Rotogrip’s weakest core and cover, making it a medium to medium-dry ball. The weak cover allows the ball to maintain some straightness in the front while showing a firm bendable motion in the back.
Impression at the time of pitching
The Hustle X-Ray is a ball that does not show strong movement, but has very good pin action. The ball responds well in the back without slipping in front of the hand, allowing the ball to be thrown consistently in the pocket. With good pin action, this ball is reliable in difficult conditions and can be used in relatively medium-range conditions.
Summary
The Hustle X-Ray has excellent pin action and is an easy ball to use in medium to medium dry conditions. This ball is especially great when the lanes are slow or when you want to be precise in the pocket, and can be used by beginners and advanced players alike.
